在加沙市，竹制品生产一度兴旺，商人们也能从竹制品贸易中获利。然而，由于地区经济不稳定，需求日渐缩少，技艺培训短缺，制竹手艺传承也出现问题。在加沙，竹制品这个传统行业正在渐渐消失。
